JNTUH NSS unit hosts cleanliness campaign

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad’s NSS unit recently organized a campus cleanliness program and blood donation camp. Dr. Shobha Rani, the NSS coordinator, mentioned that volunteers are focusing on issues like health, nutrition, hygiene, environmental cleanliness, and promoting women’s education. The unit has also adopted several villages to provide various services.

Vice Chancellor K. Narsimha Reddy highlighted the importance of student participation in service programs. He believes that such involvement helps students understand societal needs, national requirements, and individual needs. It also helps them recognize the specific services needed in different areas.
