In a concerted effort to strengthen infrastructure and enhance lake management, the Commissioner of CMC and the Managing Director of HMWS&SB, along with engineering teams, conducted comprehensive inspections at several locations in Cyberabad. The focus was on proposed Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) sites at Neknampur, Chitrapuri, Khajaguda Lake, and Mushkin Cheruvu. This initiative aims to bolster water management and promote sustainable infrastructure in the region.

The inspection team also evaluated ongoing SNDP projects at Pandenvaagu in Manikonda. Officials were instructed to expedite the execution of these projects, adhere to strict timelines, and maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process. The emphasis was on ensuring that each stage of the project meets the planned specifications and community needs.

Further inspections were carried out at the Mulkam Cheruvu and Khajaguda Lake STPs, involving Zonal Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, and SNDP officials. Key directives included accelerating all ongoing works through close monitoring and improving inter-departmental coordination to facilitate seamless execution. Immediate actions were also mandated to address leakages identified at Khajaguda Lake.

The directives emphasized the importance of ensuring the proper functioning and timely completion of STPs. Continuous field supervision was highlighted as a critical factor for success, with accountability measures put in place for all concerned teams.
