Hyderabad, November 11, 2025 – Tension escalated in Jubilee Hills after polling closed at 6 PM, with BRS and Congress workers clashing near a polling booth in Vengal Rao Nagar. BRS supporters alleged Congress cadres blocked their entry and intimidated voters as people left the station.

Congress workers accused BRS of trying to create panic post-voting to pressure officials. Police formed a human chain to separate the groups and cleared the area within 20 minutes. No injuries were reported. Additional forces remain deployed around key booths to prevent further unrest.

BRS leaders demanded immediate CCTV review of exit areas, claiming voter harassment continued even after 6 PM. Congress dismissed the charges, saying their workers were only celebrating high turnout.

The Election Commission confirmed all EVMs were sealed and moved to strong rooms under heavy security. Final voter turnout for Jubilee Hills recorded at 47.16% as of 5 PM, with minor updates expected.
