The famous Sri Balkampet Yellamma Kalyanam will happen on June 20 in Hyderabad. The Animal Husbandry Minister, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, held a meeting to discuss the temple’s development. The temple has grown a lot since Telangana State was formed, and now devotees from all over the city and other states come to pay their respects to the goddess. Precautions have been taken to ensure that devotees won’t face any inconvenience during the ceremony. A huge shed was built in front of the temple, which is where the Kalyanam will happen this year.

The government is working with all departments to make sure the AmmavariKalyanam will be grand this year. Shops near the temple will be opened on May 4 and given free of cost to eligible individuals without rent. On Tuesday, the newly appointed Balkampet Temple Committee members will be sworn in at the temple.
