A man attacked his older sister with a sword in Gazya Naik Tanda of Machareddy mandal in Kamareddy district. The woman, Sheikh Ruksana, got off a bus on Tuesday night and was heading home when her younger brother, Yusuf, followed her and attacked her with two knives. The locals found her dead and called the police.
Earlier, Ruksana had filed a complaint against Yusuf at the Machareddy Police Station after they fought about buying an auto. The police suspect that this may have led to Yusuf murdering his sister.
The local police and CI Srinivas Goud reached the scene and started the investigation. The body was taken to Kamareddy Government Hospital. The village and the family are saddened by Ruksana’s death. A case has been registered based on the family’s complaint, and the accused is currently on the run.
