Jagan Condemns Chandrababu Naidu’s Leadership, Urges Public Vigilance

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy urges Andhra Pradesh citizens to evaluate the state's direction under Chandrababu Naidu's leadership.

Karuna Gopal Vartakavi, BJP National Incharge for Women Policies and Research, predicted that Narendra Modi will win a third term as Prime Minister, with the NDA securing over 400 Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming elections. She made this statement during a press conference, where she also mentioned that BJP alone is expected to win 370 seats. In Telangana, she predicted a strong BJP presence with 17 MPs covering the entire state.

Gopal attributed the BJP’s potential success in Telangana to three main factors: Modi’s leadership, the vision for a developed India under PM Viksit Bharat Vision, and the progress achieved so far. She emphasized that the Lok Sabha elections are driven by national aspirations, with the main contest between Congress and BJP, specifically Rahul Gandhi versus Narendra Modi. Gopal compared local MP aspirants to the moon reflecting light from the sun (national leader), stating that BJP candidates would carry Modi’s influence.

The BJP leader highlighted the significance of the Ram Mandir issue, stating that not only India but the whole world celebrated Ram Lalla’s return home after 500 years. She also mentioned her interactions with three lakh women in Telangana over the past year. Gopal criticized the Congress party’s performance during their governance in 2004, pointing out a decline in India’s GDP compared to China and a trade deficit with China under Congress rule.

Gopal blamed Congress leaders like Chidambaram, Manmohan Singh, and Raghuram Rajan for poor economic decisions leading to inflation, a current account deficit, PSU NPAs, and a weak rupee. She recalled a time in 2013 when the government urged people not to buy gold due to economic challenges. Gopal also highlighted international pressure on India to be replaced by Indonesia due to its underperformance.
