The Telangana Telugu Desam Party wants to make every poor person in the state a millionaire, according to Kasani Gnaneshwar, the party’s president. Speaking at a Mini Mahanadu event in Mahabubanagar, Gnaneshwar praised TDP’s achievements in developing Telugu people in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. He also remembered party founder Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who prioritised women’s empowerment and abolished the Patel and Patwari systems, giving power to downtrodden and suppressed communities. Gnaneshwar said TDP is committed to reviving its presence in Telangana by conducting door-to-door visits to hear people’s problems and raise them with the government.

Gnaneshwar also praised the work done by Chandrababu Naidu, TDP’s national president, in developing Hyderabad’s information technology sector. He said Vision 2020, initiated by Naidu, is now bearing fruit as thousands of young people are being employed in the sector. During the Mini Mahanadu, the party discussed its plans to listen to people’s problems and prepare a manifesto aimed at making every poor person in Telangana a millionaire.
