Nagar Kurnool: Kasturba Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated with respect and devotion at the Government Science Degree College in Nagar Kurnool.
The event was attended by female faculty members and students. As part of the celebration, the staff and students paid floral tributes to a portrait of Kasturba Gandhi.
During the program, faculty members spoke about Kasturba Gandhi’s important role in India’s freedom struggle. They shared how she stood alongside Mahatma Gandhi and bravely faced British rule. Her courage and dedication continue to inspire women across the country.
Her ideals are still seen as a symbol of women’s empowerment today. Principal Anjaiah, Women Empowerment Officer Umadevi, faculty member Vanitha, other staff, and students were present at the event.
