    A criminal case has been filed against BRS MLA P Kaushik Reddy from Huzurabad in Karimnagar after he made offensive remarks about the police. The incident occurred during a meeting on March 7 in Karimnagar, where Kaushik Reddy claimed that BRS workers were being harassed by the police. He threatened consequences once his party was in power and promised to hold police officers accountable from constables to the DGP level.

    Following Kaushik Reddy’s comments, a resident of Karimnagar Town named Ashish Goud filed a complaint at the One Town Police Station. Goud stated that Kaushik Reddy’s remarks had upset the police force and demanded action be taken against him. As a result, the Karimnagar Police registered a criminal case against Kaushik Reddy.
