Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), leader of the BRS and former Chief Minister, sent his best wishes to women on International Women’s Day. In his message, he highlighted women as key contributors to social wealth, noting their equal role with men in the country’s progress.
KCR pointed out that nature has given women the important role of bringing new life into the world. He praised their dedication to sustaining human life despite challenges. He stressed the importance of offering equal opportunities to women, who make up half the population and hold great potential, for the benefit of families and society.
He acknowledged the crucial participation of Telangana women in the fight for statehood and self-rule. KCR also mentioned various measures taken during the BRS’s decade-long governance to support women’s empowerment, welfare, and growth. He concluded by urging governments to continue enhancing women’s empowerment efforts.
