Hyderabad: Congress MLC Addanki Dayakar has called on Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders to address their own party’s internal conflicts before criticizing the ruling Congress. He pointed out that family disputes involving BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) have caused unrest within the party.
At Gandhi Bhavan, Dayakar told reporters that BRS leaders cannot effectively tackle the state’s issues if they cannot resolve their family matters. He criticized the former BRS government for building the Kaleshwaram project with insufficient knowledge and trying to stir disputes over water with neighboring states. He remarked that those who once praised Kaleshwaram as a major achievement are now reluctant to support its claimed greatness.
Addressing concerns about delays in certain government schemes, Dayakar attributed the delays to financial instability but promised that all planned schemes would soon be implemented. He also accused some social media platforms of spreading false information against the government, driven by opposition agendas. He argued that if BRS truly represented the people, it would not have faced recent electoral losses.
