Union Minister and State BJP President G Kishan Reddy criticized the arrest of Malkajgiri corporator Shravan as “undemocratic.” He questioned why Shravan was arrested without any prior notice and accused rival parties like Congress and BRS of conspiring to weaken BJP’s influence in the Lok Sabha constituency.
Reddy visited Shravan’s residence to show support to his family and denounced the lack of due process in Shravan’s arrest. He condemned the alleged collaboration between BRS and Congress to obstruct BJP’s progress in Malkajgiri, labeling it as undemocratic.
Despite the challenges posed by rival parties, Reddy expressed confidence in BJP’s ability to counter their schemes and maintain its stronghold in Malkajgiri. He reassured that BJP’s presence in Telangana would remain strong and unwavering.
Reddy emphasized BJP’s commitment to fighting against hereditary parties that use undemocratic tactics. He affirmed that BJP would not be deterred by the strategies employed by its rivals.
Shravan, along with three others, was arrested by Cyber Crime Police for allegedly sharing an old video containing false information about the LS elections.
