Hyderabad – Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, who also leads the Telangana BJP, praised the Modi government's strong stance against terrorism. He said India no longer responds to terrorist attacks with just silence and candlelight vigils. Instead, it now strikes back hard.
Speaking at a gathering in the Sanatnagar constituency, Reddy joined people and BJP workers to listen to the 122nd episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat”. He encouraged everyone to regularly follow the program and act on key topics like cleanliness, yoga, and diabetes awareness that the Prime Minister highlights.
Reddy emphasized that “Mann Ki Baat” serves to inspire unity and create a healthier, more aware society. He urged citizens to follow the PM’s advice to build a strong and healthy nation.
Referring to Operation Sindoor, Reddy called it a powerful warning to Pakistan, which he accused of supporting terrorism in India for over 46 years. He recalled deadly attacks such as those at Lumbini Park, Gokul Chat, Sai Baba Temple, the Dilsukhnagar blasts, and even the Mumbai train and Parliament attacks.
He said that earlier, people only mourned the victims. But under Modi, India changed its approach. “Now we answer back,” he said, citing examples like the Pathankot surgical strike, Pulwama air strike, and the recent Pahalgam Operation Sindoor.
According to Reddy, Operation Sindoor destroyed nine terrorist camps inside Pakistani territory. He praised the bravery of Indian soldiers and mourned the loss of a soldier from Visakhapatnam during the mission.
He stressed the importance of national unity during such times. “People must come together, beyond religion, caste, or politics,” he said. He also urged everyone to actively join the Tiranga Yatras and rallies to show solidarity.
Talking about the Pahalgam attack, Reddy condemned the cruelty of the terrorists. He said victims were killed in front of their families, and Hindus were specifically targeted. “The attackers even told survivors to go and inform Modi,” he said.
Reddy assured that India will no longer stay silent. “Every terrorist strike will be answered. Pakistan will get a clear message every time,” he declared.
