Hyderabad: Union Minister Kishan Reddy spoke at the NAREDCO Telangana Property Show 2025, emphasizing the government’s dedication to development and reforms.

He pointed out that modern homes with advanced facilities are now widespread across cities. Real estate is rapidly growing in India, with the Central Government focusing on infrastructure to support this growth.

Reddy mentioned that travel between cities like Hyderabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Vijayawada, and Bengaluru is now effortless due to excellent national highways.

Reflecting on a past trip to the United States, Reddy shared his earlier hope for India to have similar roads. Today, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the country is developing its roadways, airways, railways, and waterways to global standards. Greenfield expressways connecting major cities are in the land acquisition stage and will soon be built.

The minister spoke about the goal for India to become a developed nation by 2047, marking 100 years of independence. He stressed that regardless of who governs, the aim is for India to join the ranks of developed countries. He encouraged everyone to embrace the ‘2047 vision’ and help propel the nation forward.

Reddy highlighted India’s economic progress, noting that it has become the fourth-largest economy. The GDP increased from Rs 106 lakh crore in 2014 to Rs 331 lakh crore in 2025. He credited good governance for elevating 20 crore people out of poverty over the last decade.

He insisted that reforms must guide every cabinet decision. “Development requires reform. No bill or program should proceed without it,” he said, referencing the Prime Minister’s mantra: “Reform, Perform, Transform.”

The Union Minister underscored that infrastructure development is crucial for national progress. Projects like metro rails, transport enhancements, and educational reforms, including new universities and skill centers, are shaping India’s future. The property show highlighted Telangana’s significant role in the country’s growth journey.
