Speculation is growing about changes within the Telangana BJP following the party’s 35% vote share in the recent Lok Sabha elections. There are talks of new faces being included in the Union Cabinet from the state and changes in the party organization. It is rumored that state BJP president G Kishan Reddy could potentially become the BJP national president, replacing JP Nadda. Madhya Pradesh’s former CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan is also reportedly a contender for the position.

There are also discussions about Bandi Sanjay Kumar, DK Aruna, and Konda Vishweshwar Reddy potentially joining the Union Cabinet as Ministers of State. If Kishan Reddy becomes the national president, Eatala Rajender may be promoted to state BJP president. Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Konda Vishweshwar Reddy have both been elected to the Lok Sabha twice, while Eatala Rajender and DK Aruna are first-time MPs.

A senior party leader mentioned that the BJP is known for turning setbacks into opportunities through long-term planning. The party is focusing on expanding its presence in Telangana and Karnataka as part of its Southern push to increase its vote share.

In Andhra Pradesh, it is speculated that two MPs may be included in the Union Council of Ministers, with names like D Purandeswari and CM Ramesh being mentioned. The party is also preparing to target 700 village sarpanches and 7,000 ward members in the upcoming panchayat elections, as well as aiming to win a majority of seats in the GHMC elections.
