KLH Global Business School Students Win National Medals and Arjuna Award Nomination

Hyderabad, 06 January 2026: Students from KLH Global Business School have secured multiple accolades at national and international sporting competitions, demonstrating the institution’s focus on athletic excellence alongside academic pursuits. The achievements span across shooting, athletics, and tennis, with several students earning recognition at prestigious tournaments held across the country.

Dhanush Srikanth, a first-year BBA student, has been nominated for the Arjuna Award in air rifle shooting, marking a significant milestone for the young athlete. In athletics, M. Venkat Rami Reddy, also a BBA student, won the Gold Medal in the 800-metre event at the Khelo India University Games 2025 held in Rajasthan. Adding to the athletics success, Mogli Venkata Ram Reddy clinched a bronze medal in the 800-metre event at the 4th South Asian Senior Athletics Championships 2025, bringing international recognition to the institution.

The institution’s tennis contingent delivered strong performances at the South Zone Inter-University Tennis Tournament 2025, competing against leading universities from across South India. In the women’s category, Muruga Sera Anjum, a third-year BBA student, played a key role in securing top positions. The men’s team featured Nashik Reddy, a third-year BBA student, and Dheeraj Reddy, a second-year BBA student, who collectively achieved one winner position and two runners-up finishes. The team comprised students from KLH GBS along with participants from the KL Vijayawada and KLH Aziznagar campuses.

Following their tournament success, all three tennis players have been selected for the All-India Inter-University Team and the Khelo India University Games 2026, advancing them to the national competitive level. The selections reflect the rigorous knockout format of the tournament and the high standard of competition faced by the students during the championship.

Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice President of KL Deemed to be University, commented on the achievements, stating that inter-university competition demands sustained preparation, discipline, and mental resilience. He noted that the accomplishments recorded by the students reflect their commitment to excellence and their ability to balance academic responsibility with competitive sport. The achievements represent the institution’s structured approach to sporting engagement and preparation at the university level.
