IT searches are ongoing at KLR’s residence in Narsingh. The authorities searched until 1 o’clock in the night and took away the documents found in the house. Around 15 other officers are conducting searches.
The searches are also taking place at the KLR headquarters office in Madhapur. After completing the search of the farm house last night, the authorities brought the statement to the nursing home. IT officials have now returned to Lakshmareddy’s house with 5 vehicles. The searches are expected to continue until evening.
On Thursday, IT officials conducted searches at the farmhouse of Maheswaram Congress MLA candidate Kitchennagari Lakshmareddy. Security personnel are not allowing anyone to enter KLR’s house and a large number of his followers and activists have gathered outside.
The IT officials also searched the house of Chigurintha Parijathanarsimha Reddy, mayor of Badangpet Municipal Corporation and a Congress ticket aspirant for Maheshwaram constituency. They seized Parijata’s daughter’s phone and are conducting searches. Parijathanarsimhareddy is currently in Tirupati and her husband Narsimhareddy is in Delhi.
