Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has instructed officials to begin immediate repairs on roads that were badly damaged during the last monsoon season.

The minister held a video conference with senior engineers to discuss road repairs and the selection of roads under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) in the state. He emphasized the need to use mechanized pothole-filling machines to speed up the repair process.

Regarding the selection of HAM roads, he advised officials to work closely with the consultancy appointed by the government and the district collector. He stressed that priority should be given to roads that are in extremely poor condition, especially those in the border areas of the state.
