Komatireddy Venkat Reddy receives a second opportunity to serve as Minister in Hyderabad

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, an influential leader from Nalgonda, has been sworn in as a Minister in Telangana’s new government. He has had a political career spanning almost four decades and was previously a Member of Parliament for the Bhongir Parliament Constituency. He has also served as the Deputy Floor Leader for the Telangana Congress Legislative Party. Born in 1965 in Narketpally, Nalgonda district, Reddy completed his schooling in Hyderabad and graduated from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology with a degree in Civil Engineering. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in youth politics and has worked on initiatives such as educational and university reforms. Reddy previously represented the Nalgonda constituency in multiple elections and served as the Minister for Information Technology in YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s government.
