Former minister Konda Surekha has accused the BRS government of corruption, following the leak of TSPSC question papers for an exam to recruit engineers in various departments. Speaking during her Hath Se Hath Jodo yatra in Kareembad, the politician alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was jeopardizing the prospects of unemployed youth. She called on KCR and IT, MA&UD Minister K T Rama Rao to break their silence on the issue and demanded an inquiry by a sitting judge into recruitment conducted by the state government since the formation of Telangana.

Surekha also criticized BRS ministers for leaving important issues to travel to Delhi to protect MLC K Kavitha, who is a suspect in a liquor scam investigated by the Enforcement Directorate. She claimed that corruption and land grabbing were rife in the Warangal East constituency, with local leaders amassing assets.

The politician also promised that Congress would provide homes for all shelterless citizens, referring to Indiramma Houses constructed during the party’s regime. She criticized the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation for its lack of preparedness to tackle drinking water scarcity in the summer.
