In Bhadradri Kothagudem District, the Kothagudem 1 Town Police Station received information that three suspicious individuals were in a car near Kothagudem bus stand. The police, led by SS Vijaya, conducted a vehicle check and found 93 packets weighing 186 kgs worth 75 lakhs in the car with number TS17J4458.
The individuals in the car were identified as Penugonda Narasimhulu, Kuncham Laxman, and Bhukya Laxman. They were all from Machareddy Mandal, Kamareddy District. Narasimhulu was a 20-year-old driver, Laxman was a 24-year-old involved in agriculture, and the other Laxman was a 20-year-old from Nandi Thanda.
The police seized the illegal goods found in the car after a thorough search. This operation was carried out at around 2.00 pm near the under bridge close to Kothagudem bus stand. Karunakar provided more details about the individuals involved in this incident.
