Former minister C Krishna Yadav’s joining of the BJP was delayed at the last minute, causing criticism from various sources. Recently, many leaders have been joining the BJP, including Dr Chennamaneni Vikas Raj, the son of former Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao. Krishna Yadav was also supposed to join the party, with big flexis and cutouts of him displayed around the party office. However, he was asked to wait for a fresh date, which will be in two to three days, and his joining will be in the presence of a Union minister. Eatala Rajender, the head of the joining committee, was absent and it is speculated that he was supporting Tula Uma for a ticket from Vemulawada. With Vikas Raj joining the party, Uma’s chances of getting a ticket have decreased. Yadav said there was a communication gap and he will join the BJP in a few days. He hopes to contest for the Amberpet seat, which is Kishan Reddy’s stronghold, but will follow the party’s instructions.
