Hyderabad: The Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) has asked Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to resolve their disputes over Krishna River water peacefully. The board urged both states to avoid legal complications, especially during the summer season.

KRMB advised that priority should be given to drinking water needs first, followed by irrigation. It also stressed the importance of using water carefully and avoiding wastage during this critical time.

Officials from KRMB instructed both state governments to hold meetings every 15 days to review and decide how much water is needed during the peak summer months.
