Hyderabad: The BRS working president KT Rama Rao criticized the government for not acting promptly after the blast at Pashamylaram in Sangareddy district. He stated on X that if it were a Miss World Pageant, all Congress Ministers would eagerly be present, led by the Chief Minister.
Rama Rao pointed out that over 12 people have died and many are critically injured, yet no Telangana Minister has visited the site. He praised the efforts of the BRS team, including Former Minister Harish, Sangareddy MLA Chinta Prabhakar, and Zahirabad MLA Manik Rao, for their dedication to helping the workers and their families.
He described the explosion in the Pashamilaram industrial area in Patancheru as a tragic incident and feared the death toll might increase. He urged the government to provide the best medical care for the injured. KTR emphasized the necessity of safety audits for industrial units and demanded a thorough investigation into the safety failures that led to the accident. He called for strict punishment for those responsible and suggested financial compensation for the victims’ families. He expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families and wished for the injured to recover quickly.
