Hyderabad: KT Rama Rao, the BRS Working President, called the Formula-E case “bogus” on Tuesday. He challenged anyone to join him for a lie detector test to prove his point.
Rama Rao shared that he worked hard to bring the Formula-E race to Hyderabad. He confirmed directing the release of Rs 46 crore from the government, ensuring the funds went directly to the correct account.
“Every rupee is accounted for. There’s no corruption,” he stated. He believes that even if legal actions are taken, they would not hold up.
Rama Rao emphasized that BRS will focus on holding the Congress accountable for their promises. He dared Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to face him on live TV for a lie detector test. “Let the people judge who’s honest,” he remarked, reminding the public of Reddy’s past incident involving Rs 50 lakh.
He accused the government of using the Formula-E case to distract from real issues. “We will keep questioning the government about people’s concerns,” he assured.
Rama Rao criticized Jairam Ramesh for labeling BRS as a “B-team” of BJP. “Jairam, this arrogance is why Congress is failing. We are neither Congress nor BJP supporters,” he said. “We are Telangana’s A-team. Focus on your own issues,” he added.
Rama Rao made it clear that BRS is committed to Telangana‘s people. “Our loyalty is to Telangana’s citizens, their welfare, and their voice in Delhi,” he emphasized. He advised Congress to consider their declining influence instead of attacking regional parties with false claims.
