    KT Rama Rao, the working president of BRS, strongly condemned the lathi charge on farmers in Adilabad. He demanded that the government apologize for the attack on farmers. Rama Rao criticized the Congress government for failing to support farmers with essential resources like irrigation water, financial assistance, and seeds.

    He expressed his dismay at the deteriorating situation of agriculture and farmers within just five months of the government’s formation. Rama Rao questioned whether the lathi charge on farmers was the change promised by the Congress party.

    Rao highlighted the contrast between the smooth provision of seeds, fertilizers, and electricity to farmers over the past ten years compared to the current shortages and failures under the current government. He called out Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for neglecting farmers while focusing on election campaigns in other states and visits to Delhi.

    Rao demanded immediate action from the Chief Minister and Agriculture minister to address the seed shortage and distribution issues. He also called for strict action against police officials involved in the lathi charge on farmers.
