KT Rama Rao (KTR), the Bharat Rashtra Samithi’s (BRS) working president, criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and opposition leader Rahul Gandhi. The criticism came after the decision to let the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) look into the Kaleshwaram project. KTR questioned how a Congress Chief Minister could approve a CBI probe when Rahul Gandhi has previously claimed the agency is used by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for political purposes.
On social media, KTR pointed out the contradiction. He noted that the CBI, which Rahul Gandhi once called the “Opposition Elimination Cell” of the BJP, is now investigating the Kaleshwaram project. KTR questioned Rahul Gandhi’s awareness of his party’s actions in Telangana.
KTR confidently stated, “Bring it on, whatever it is that you conspire against us. We will fight both legally and politically.” He trusts the judiciary and believes the public will see the truth. As the CBI investigation unfolds, the political situation in Telangana is likely to become more intense.
