Former Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has made it clear that the BRS party does not plan to bring down the Congress government in Telangana. He said that if the government is removed, it will be done by the people, not by his party.

KTR shared that many people are unhappy with how the Congress government is performing. He also supported a previous comment made by BRS MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, who said that people are willing to donate money to remove the current government.

Despite the criticism, KTR said he wants Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to complete his full five-year term, even if the government is not doing well. “We don’t have the need or bad intentions to bring down the government,” he added.

KTR challenged the Chief Minister by saying that if Revanth Reddy is confident in his popularity, he should visit villages without security and see what people really think of him.

He also accused some police officers of acting like a “private army” for the Chief Minister. KTR said he would go to the Supreme Court if false cases are filed against people. He also spoke out against filing cases for simple things like retweeting posts on social media, calling it unfair and undemocratic.

“If Revanth uses the police like his private army, they will have to face the consequences,” KTR warned.

Earlier, BRS MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy had claimed that many businessmen, builders, and real estate developers were not happy with the Congress government and wanted it removed. However, after criticism from Congress leaders, he took back his statement and clarified that BRS has no plans to topple the government.
