The BRS leadership has asked party members to celebrate the party’s 23rd Formation Day by hoisting party flags in district offices. BRS working president KT Rama Rao will hoist the party flag at Telangana Bhavan at 9 am on Saturday.
KTR mentioned that due to the ongoing Lok Sabha election campaigns, it is suggested to celebrate the foundation day events at district office centers. In the past, the party used to hold plenary and public meetings on Formation Day, but these were not done during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Rama Rao stated that district party units, public representatives, and party members will take part in these celebrations. He wished party workers, leaders, and followers well.
The party was established on April 27, 2001 with the goal of achieving Telangana. After achieving statehood, the government initiated various welfare and development projects, transforming Telangana into a ‘Golden Telangana’. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi has now become the Bharat Rashtra Samithi and will continue advocating for the development of farmers, workers, cultivators, and other disadvantaged groups across the nation.
