Telangana IT and MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao has decided to celebrate his birthday by helping the orphan children at the State home in Yousufguda. He has called upon party workers to support orphans instead of spending money on advertisements.

Rama Rao took to Twitter to spread his message to party workers. He plans to personally support 47 meritorious children from 10th/12th grades and 47 more from professional courses on his 47th birthday. The initiative, called #GiftASmile, will provide each child with a laptop and two years of intense coaching from a top institute.

Rama Rao emphasized that these children face adversity every day but still choose to succeed. He urged BRS party leaders to support orphans in their own way instead of spending money on advertisements.
