Jadcherla (Mahabubnagar): On Friday, Jadcherla MLA Janampally Anirudh Reddy and District Collector Vijayendra Bhoi distributed house site pattas to families affected by the Udandapur Reservoir project. This event took place in Chinnagutta Tanda and aimed to support displaced families from various tandas, including Tummalakunta Tanda, Regadipetti Tanda, Chinnagutta Tanda, and Ontigudise Tanda. A total of 237 families received pattas.
Villagers and district officials attended the event enthusiastically. MLA Anirudh Reddy promised ongoing support to the displaced families. He acknowledged the difficulty of leaving one’s home and land, emphasizing their important role in advancing the reservoir project.
The MLA noted that the reservoir, once completed, would irrigate about 8 lakh acres of farmland, benefiting regional farmers. He praised the families’ sacrifices, calling them the true heroes of the project and assured them of his commitment to ensuring their rightful compensation and support.
Reddy instructed the RDO to speed up the compensation process for displaced families. He emphasized that the land’s value surpasses monetary measures, promising respect and recognition for their contributions.
The event featured key officials like the RDO, Municipal Chairperson Koneti Pushpalatha, and AMC Chairperson Tangella Jyothi Alwal Reddy, along with local councillors, Congress leaders, and villagers.
