BJP MP Dr K Laxman criticized the Congress party for their agenda of “Breaking Bharat” while the BJP is focused on “Developed Bharat” under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He mentioned that the Congress’ Muslim appeasement policy led to the partition of the country and deprived OBCs, SCs, and STs in Jammu and Kashmir of reservations for 76 years until Article 370 was abrogated by the BJP government.

Dr Laxman accused the leaders of the INDIA alliance of spreading hatred among different groups to win elections, emphasizing that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi should learn from history. He pointed out that Rahul’s father, former PM Rajiv Gandhi, opposed reservations for OBCs recommended by the Mandal Commission and favored reservations based on economic status rather than caste, unlike Rahul who supports caste census.

Dr Laxman dismissed Congress’ allegations of BJP cancelling reservations and scraping the constitution, stating that it was actually the Congress party that insulted the constitution and Dr BR Ambedkar.
