Leaders from various fields including ministers, family members, civil society representatives, close associates, friends, and admirers gathered to pay tribute to PV Narasimha Rao on his 102nd birth anniversary. The event took place at PV Gnana Bhoomi, Necklace Road in Hyderabad. PV Narasimha Rao’s daughter, Vani Devi, along with ministers Mohammad Mahamood Ali, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Satyavathi Rathod, and MLA Shankar Naik were present to honor the former Prime Minister. The State government made special arrangements for the occasion, including religious prayers and decorating the PV Ghat with flowers.
During the event, Srinivas Yadav highlighted PV Narasimha Rao’s significant contributions in resolving the country’s worst financial crisis in 1992 through bold financial decisions made in the budget. He also commended the Telangana government, led by K Chandrashekhar Rao, for recognizing and honoring the late Prime Minister’s legacy. Yadav emphasized that PV Narasimha Rao was a visionary who deserved the Bharat Ratna award for his groundbreaking decisions.
Satyavathi Rathod praised PV Narasimha Rao and emphasized that he would continue to be an inspiration for future generations in India.
