Several leaders from the MIM and BRS parties have joined the Congress Party in Nizamabad. The leaders joined under the leadership of Zameer Ahmed Khan, who is in charge of the cluster in the Nizamabad Assembly constituency. The joining ceremony took place at Dharmapuri Hills in Nizamabad, where MIM corporator Haroon and his supporters, as well as BRS influential leader Jilani, Baba Sab, Imran, and others, joined the Congress Party.
During the ceremony, Khan mentioned that there is a wind of change in the state and the people of Telangana want a Congress government. This is why leaders from other parties are joining the Congress Party, which is strengthening the party.
Congress candidates Shabbir Ali, Asif Khureshi, senior leaders Tahir Sab, Keshav Venu, and others were present at the event.
Earlier, Khan campaigned for Vinay Kumar Reddy, the Congress candidate for the Armour Assembly constituency. He expressed confidence that the Congress Party will come to power in Telangana.
Khan, who is currently touring Telangana, also attended a function at the party office to celebrate the Jayanti of former PM Indira Gandhi and paid his respects.
