In Wanaparthy district, local body representatives from the BRS party are camping in Old Goa and the Mangeshwara Temple region as the MLC elections approach. The BRS and Congress parties are sending their representatives on tours to places like Goa, Ooty, and Kodaicanal to ensure their vote banks remain loyal.

The BRS party has sent MPTCs, ZPTCs, councillors, and Sarpaches from Wanaparthy and Nagarkurnool districts on a tour to Goa and Old Goa. This move is to prevent their local body vote bank from being swayed by the Congress party.
