    In Wanaparthy district, local body representatives from the BRS party are camping in Old Goa and the Mangeshwara Temple region as the MLC elections approach. The BRS and Congress parties are sending their representatives on tours to places like Goa, Ooty, and Kodaicanal to ensure their vote banks remain loyal.

    The BRS party has sent MPTCs, ZPTCs, councillors, and Sarpaches from Wanaparthy and Nagarkurnool districts on a tour to Goa and Old Goa. This move is to prevent their local body vote bank from being swayed by the Congress party. Meanwhile, the Congress party has also sent local body representatives from Mahabubnagar, Devarkadra, Jadcherla, and Shadnagar constituencies to Ooty and Kodai canal.

    The Congress party’s political camping is sponsored by their MLC candidate Manne Jeevan Reddy. Both parties are determined to win the MLC elections, seeing it as a prestigious issue that can boost their chances in upcoming MP elections.

    Political analyst Narendra from Mahabubnagar district believes that winning the MLC elections is crucial for both parties as it sets the tone for future elections.
