A literary festival was held at Rashtrapati Nilayam in Bolarum to celebrate International Women’s Day. Around 200 poets from Telangana attended the festival and shared their poems. Among them, 70-80 poets recited in languages like Sanskrit and Urdu, while 150 poets presented in Telugu.

The poets at the festival represented three different generations and shared their poetic expressions on the theme of ‘Women’s Progress’. They highlighted the importance of women by stating that they are not just half of the sky, but also the entire spectrum of colors in the universe. The festival aimed to showcase the poetic talent and celebrate the achievements of women.

The event provided a platform for poets to come together, share their work, and celebrate the power of poetry in highlighting important social issues.
