Bhupalpally officials are gearing up for Bathukamma and Dussehra celebrations. MLA Gandra Satyanarayana Rao and District Collector Rahul Sharma have directed department leaders to ensure smooth festivities without any public inconvenience.
On Monday, a meeting took place at the Bhupalpally Collectorate with district officers. The focus was on making arrangements for the upcoming events.
The MLA and Collector suggested decorating each village and ward in Bhupalpalli Municipality with colorful mandapams and bright lights to attract visitors.
Special officers and Panchayat Secretaries were tasked to address local issues before the festivals. Keeping the area clean during the celebrations was emphasized, with instructions to ensure streetlights are operational around mandapams and lanes, adhering to government guidelines.
Plans for electricity, water, sanitation, security, healthcare, and traffic were discussed to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely.
Aware of potential conflicts during Dussehra, the MLA advised police to identify risk areas early and prepare security measures accordingly.
