    Hyderabad: The Madiga Teachers Association and the Madiga Vidyarthi Samakhya of Nizam College have called for the Supreme Court’s judgment on SC classification to be implemented from the current academic year. They believe this will ensure justice for the Madiga community and its sub-castes.

    On Thursday, a meeting was held where Madiga teachers and students expressed their support for the Supreme Court’s decision. They were happy with the verdict and insisted that the classification should be put into practice immediately within the education and employment sectors in Telangana.

    Among those who voiced their support were teachers Dr. M. Manohar, Dr. S.V. Ratnam, Venkateswara Rao, Dr. Paladugu Jeevan, Dr. V. Bhaskar, and Dr. Ramana. Student leaders like Vinay, Akash, Bharat, and Suresh also joined in the demand for swift implementation.
