The Mahashakti Temple in Karimnagar was beautifully decorated with colorful lights on Saturday, the third day of the Shri Devi Sharan Navaratri festival. Thousands of devotees gathered at the temple to celebrate the occasion with joy and devotion.

On this day, the goddess appeared in the form of Annapurna Devi, who is also the presiding deity of Varanasi. The idol was adorned with vegetables and represented as Sri Mahadurga, adding to the festive atmosphere.

People started arriving at the temple from early morning for darshan (viewing of the deity). Throughout Navaratri, the goddess appears in different forms each day. As part of the daily rituals, 10 types of Aarti are performed, and an Abhishekam (sacred bath) is offered to the deity at midnight.
