Man in Hyderabad caught on CCTV killing five puppies

Hyderabad: A shocking and cruel incident took place at Indus VB City Colony in Macha Bolarum, on the outskirts of Hyderabad. A man was caught on CCTV killing five puppies by throwing them against a wall in a residential parking area. The incident happened on April 14 but only came to light on Thursday after the video went viral on social media.

Residents of the colony became suspicious after they found the dead puppies in the cellar. When they checked the CCTV footage, they saw a man picking up the puppies and violently throwing them at a wall, killing them instantly. The man was identified as Ashish, a resident of the colony. When locals confronted him, he admitted to the crime and said he didn’t like stray dogs.

The residents reported the incident to the Alwal police. A case was registered, and an investigation is now underway using the CCTV footage and statements from witnesses.

Animal rights activists and people across the city strongly condemned the act. They demanded strict action against the man under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and other relevant laws.
