A man died and his wife was injured when a tree fell on them near Cantonment Hospital in Bollaram on Tuesday. The man, Ravinder, and his wife, Sarala Devi, were entering the hospital when the accident happened. Ravinder died on the spot, while Sarala Devi suffered serious injuries.
Locals quickly took Sarala Devi to the hospital for treatment, and the police arrived at the scene to move Ravinder’s body for a post-mortem examination at Gandhi Hospital. An investigation is ongoing, with a case filed regarding the incident. CCTV footage of the accident is also available online for viewing.
