The rainfall was particularly heavy in areas like Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Gachibowli, and Madhapur, which are known for their high-end residential complexes and commercial establishments.
The heavy rainfall and hailstorms have caused significant damage to the city’s infrastructure, with several roads and bridges being washed away. The Telangana government has announced relief measures for the affected people, including the distribution of food and shelter. The state government has also set up control rooms to monitor the situation and coordinate relief efforts.
