Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recently praised and honored a group of young people who rescued individuals trapped in a car during a flood in Musheerabad. She presented them with shawls at the GHMC head office.
During the event, Mayor Vijayalakshmi spoke with the youth to learn more about how they managed to save the people from the sinking car. She commended the bravery and quick thinking of intermediate students Praneet Yadav, Mohan Yadav, Nagaraju Chari, and M Martin, who alerted them to the accident. The Mayor emphasized the importance of being responsible and helping others.
Vijayalakshmi also reminded the youth to prioritize their own safety while assisting others. She encouraged them to continue providing such services whenever needed in the future. It is essential for everyone to have a desire to help those in need, she added.
