    IT Minister Distributes Scooters and Inaugurates Ambulance in Bhupalapally

    IT Minister Sridhar Babu distributed electronic scooters to Anganwadi supervisors during an event in Koyyuru village, located in Malhar mandal of Bhupalapally district, on Tuesday. The event was organized by the Department of Medical and Health. Alongside the scooter distribution, a new ambulance was also inaugurated.

    Speaking at the event, Minister Sridhar Babu emphasized the government’s dedication to improving emergency medical services in rural areas. He highlighted that the newly inaugurated ambulance is a step toward fulfilling this commitment. The electronic scooters, provided under the Aspiration Block Program and funded by CIL CSR, were distributed through the Women and Child Welfare Department to enhance the efficiency of Anganwadi staff.

    The minister explained that the scooters are being allocated to supervisors in two Anganwadi project areas within the district. Specifically, five scooters are being provided to Malhar mandal and 15 to Bhupalpally. He encouraged efforts to ensure that all 227 Anganwadi centers in Malhar mandal are covered under this initiative.

    This program is expected to improve mobility and strengthen the services offered by Anganwadi supervisors, ultimately benefiting women and children in the region.
