Hyderabad: Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, the Minister for Roads & Buildings, promised to address unpaid bills of contractors by speaking with the Chief Minister and Deputy CM. He urged officials to speed up ongoing construction projects, especially those close to completion.
On Sunday, during a meeting at the Secretariat, the Minister assessed five unfinished Integrated District Office Complexes in Adilabad, Warangal, Mulugu, Narayanpet, and Karimnagar. Officials highlighted pending bills, and the Minister instructed that the nearly complete Warangal and Mulugu complexes be finished swiftly for inauguration.
Regarding Rail Over Bridge (ROB) projects, the Minister emphasized the urgent completion of the Madhavnagar ROB in Nizamabad. He directed attention to ROBs, medical colleges, and TIMS hospitals nearing completion.
He stressed the importance of the Roads & Buildings department in completing vital infrastructure projects quickly. He stated, “Better roads improve transport and are a key sign of development.”
He pointed out that Greater Hyderabad experiences a daily traffic flow of over 91 lakh vehicles, underlining the need for excellent road infrastructure in Telangana‘s urban and rural areas.
