Hyderabad: Minister Puvvada Ajay referred to the Congress party as a scam party. The party leaders criticized him for calling them opportunists. They expressed their desire for the Congress party to be known as a party that committed treason against Telangana. In a meeting in Khammam, they mentioned that those who joined the Congress party are just opportunists. Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy of the BJP met with Minister Puvvada Ajay at the BJP office in the Assembly and spoke to the media. They criticized leader Rahul Gandhi for being a leader without credibility. They referred to him as a leader who only relied on his position. They mentioned that before joining the Congress party, Khammam leaders used to criticize them.
They questioned why the Congress party didn’t receive many votes in the recent elections. They alleged that there was match-fixing with the BJP. They questioned why there were IT and ED raids on Congress leaders. They accused the Congress party of corruption from the ground to the sky. They made it clear that no injustice has been done to any leader who joined the BJP from the Congress party in Khammam. They specifically mentioned Telugu Venkatrao, Pidamarti Ravi, and Koram Kanakayya, who did not win even after being given tickets.
