Gadwal: MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy took a significant step for women’s welfare by distributing cheques of ₹1,16,000 each under the Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes. A total of 678 beneficiaries from various villages and the town received their cheques at the MLA camp office in Gadwal district headquarters.
During the event, the MLA shared his joy in implementing Telangana’s welfare schemes supporting marriages of girls from low-income families. He praised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for empowering women through these initiatives.
Gadwal’s Development Focus
MLA Krishna Mohan Reddy reaffirmed his dedication to developing the Gadwal constituency. “Since my election, I have worked hard to improve every village. Development now reaches every corner,” he said.
He listed key achievements during his term:
- Medical Infrastructure: A new medical college, nursing college, 300-bed hospital, and improved roads and drainage systems.
- Irrigation: Increased capacity of Nettempadu and Ryalampadu reservoirs to 4 TMCs and pushed for faster completion of the lift irrigation project.
- Housing: The Indiramma Housing Scheme is underway, with beneficiaries receiving construction approvals.
- Ration Cards: Pending ration cards are being processed, with distribution starting soon.
Welfare Schemes
The MLA highlighted the Congress government’s progress in fulfilling promises, including:
- Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima
- Loan waivers for farmers
- Rs. 500 gas cylinders
- Free bus travel for women
- Fine rice for the poor
He applauded the decision to grant 42% reservation to Backward Classes (BCs), emphasizing the government’s dedication to social justice.

MLA Krishna Mohan urged voters to support pro-development candidates in local elections. “Endorse our candidates to ensure continuous development,” he encouraged.
He committed to serving Gadwal’s progress and urged women recipients to use the financial aid wisely.
