Mudhole MLA Pawar Ramarao Patel said the government is working hard to deliver welfare benefits quickly to the people who need them.
On Wednesday, he handed out Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques to 116 beneficiaries from SC, ST, and minority communities in Bhainsa town and mandal. The event took place at the IKP office.
Patel pointed out that beneficiaries now receive their cheques much faster than before. He noted that only 118 applications are still waiting for approval.
He also urged the Congress government to increase the financial support to ₹1 lakh and include a gold coin with the benefit. He accused the ruling party of not keeping its promises and said he would bring up the issue in the Assembly.
The event was attended by Deputy Tahsildar Ashok, former Market Committee Chairman Rajesh Babu, former MPP Abdul Razak, and other local leaders.
