Nagarkurnool MLA, Dr. Kuchkulla Rajesh Reddy, stressed the importance of protecting the environment. He encouraged everyone to get involved in tree-planting activities. Dr. Reddy attended a program called Swachhdhanam-Pachhdhanam in the 18th Ward of the district center on Friday.
During the event, the MLA planted saplings with local women. He explained that the trees planted today would provide oxygen for future generations. He reminded everyone of the vital role oxygen played during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, he suggested making tree planting a regular activity during birthdays, weddings, and other celebrations.
Dr. Reddy also urged people to keep their surroundings clean, in addition to planting trees. As part of the program, two borewells were installed in the 18th Ward to support these efforts.
