Hyderabad: G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister and State BJP chief, believes that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants representatives to be close to the people and solve their problems. He spoke at the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalpa Sabha,’ marking 11 years of the Modi government and one year of Malkajgiri MP Etala Rajender’s term.
Reddy praised the progress made under Modi’s leadership, highlighting the BJP’s 11 years of clean governance. He compared this with the previous Congress-led UPA government, which faced many corruption scandals. Under Modi, there have been no such issues, showing the administration’s honesty.
Reddy noted how India’s response to terrorism strengthened with Modi, citing the surgical strikes as a key change. Significant funds for Telangana have gone into infrastructure projects like highways and railway stations, showing more progress than during Congress rule. Telangana struggled with debt and corruption under the Bharat Rashtra Samithi party, failing its citizens. Reddy is confident BJP will win the next state elections.
Dr. K. Laxman, BJP MP and OBC Morcha National president, criticized Congress for failing Backward Classes (BCs) from Jawaharlal Nehru to Rajiv Gandhi. He pointed out flaws in the Telangana government’s caste survey, which he said deprived BCs of their rights.
Eatala Rajender shared how an exhibition highlighted achievements from Shyama Prasad Mukherjee to Modi. He remembered discussing the GST rollout with Modi when he was State Finance Minister, emphasizing Modi’s focus on serving people over seeking power. Modi demonstrated India’s strength through ‘Operation Sindoor.’ In contrast, Congress faced scandals, with ministers jailed for mismanagement. Telangana was born from sacrifices, but Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has disrespected its people. Modi’s leadership shows how a country can excel, with India leading in digital transactions. Actions matter more than words, reflecting Modi’s style. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee sacrificed for unity, and Modi has realized his vision.
